Hey everyone – Liz here from IACCE (Illinois). I have a few items for our happy family of SEANS before I leave out on maternity for 2 months (any day now)!!
1. Allie has left from ACCE… and he really served as Papa – Chamber in keeping us all updated on each other. Who is our new contact there for SEAN matters or are we going to become self sufficient? I guess this comes down to babysitting the list of contacts and making sure we’re all still talking. I don’t know how updated the last list we all have is but I’ve attached what I have. I would like to ask each of you to take a peek at what I sent and would you mind e-mailing IACCE your updated information to Katie@iacce.org. Katie Davis in my office will be updating this list for us and will actually e-mail it back out to you all. If your e-mail bounces back, I’m going to ask her to call your SEAN to get updated info.
2. IACCE is finalizing our Fall Conference speakers for November. In the past 4 years, we’ve had Wayne Mitchell, Kip Lilly, Pat McGaughey, Cathi Hight, Keith Woods, and Bob Harris… and a number of others that aren’t at the national level like Tony Rubileski (sp?)… Who am I missing? Fresh ideas for this year?
3. I believe we usually get together at the ACCE convention to meet for a day. Are we planning on doing that again? Anyone heard from ACCE to see if we are doing that again or do we need to plan this ourselves… or do you even want to do it?
Ok, enough rambling from my end. I guess it’s a bi-product of being overly pregnant! I’ll still be in some communication while on maternity leave but my personal e-mail is chamberindustry@gmail.com if you wouldn’t mind keeping me in the loop!
